Cafentity · Leadership
Co-Founder & Chief Coffee Officer
Master cupper, green coffee trader and broker, and certification facilitator for Rainforest Alliance, Organic and Fair Trade. From seed to cup, 47 years of hands-on coffee leadership.
Bayron Aranda is a coffee professional whose career covers every link of the value chain: farm management, wet and dry milling, quality control, export, roasting and private-label brand building. He trained as a cupper at Carcafé in Colombia under Swiss and French master tasters Roland Sigg and Roger Marc Lebreton.
He now trades single-origin green coffee bought directly from farms and ships it FOB to buyers in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He guides producers to Rainforest Alliance, Organic and Fair Trade certification, is CQI-credentialed, and teaches coffee quality courses across South America, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. At Cafentity he is responsible for sourcing, quality and trade.
Long-standing relationships with producers at origin. Cafentity buys at the source, with full traceability and no intermediaries.
Every lot is cupped and graded by a master taster, with pre-shipment and arrival samples approved before release.
About 30 containers a year on FOB terms, priced per contract, with established logistics into 11 markets.
He has built and run mills, cupping labs and a 350,000 lb-per-month roasting plant, and grew it by more than 1,400% in three years.
